MyTutor is the UK's leading online one-to-one tutoring platform, on a mission to improve education for everyone. In this role, you will provide timely, professional technical and operations support to the team in our vibrant London office on Old Street. Your enthusiasm, problem-solving skills, and tech-savviness will ensure seamless technical operations while keeping the office organised and welcoming.

This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week in the office, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Provide high-touch technical assistance to our London office teams by resolving hardware, software, network, and account issues
Efficiently research and resolve help desk support tickets involving hardware, software, and malware
Assist in administering Google Workspace, Slack, VPNs, and MyTutor’s backend system
Develop and maintain clear documentation for operational processes, training, and internal resources
Be the face of IXL and MyTutor from our Old St office: Greet guests, handle incoming deliveries, and keep our day-to-day operations brilliantly organised
Serve as the main UK point of contact for day-to-day business needs, coordinating cross-office operations and routing key documentation to US headquarters
Lead onboardings for new hires with office tours, day-one desk setups, and welcome support
Act as the primary contact for building management, assisting with facility needs, health and safety protocols, and fire drills
Run ad-hoc business errands and assist with other general office operational duties as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor’s degree required
Hands-on experience in an IT technical support or a technical customer-facing role
Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with a proven ability to research, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and everyday tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack)
Energetic, dependable, and positive team player who thrives on setting colleagues up for success
Exceptional organisational skills with a high attention to detail and a proactive approach to anticipating team needs
Ability to prioritise daily tasks efficiently and work independently in an in-office environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a welcoming, customer-focused approach
