What You’ll Be Doing
Lead & Inspire

Manage and develop a high-performing Network Operations team
Create a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and collaboration

Own the Network Estate

Take full responsibility for a large-scale Cisco Meraki environment (MX, MS, MR)
Drive performance, resilience, and scalability across all services
Lead network upgrades, deployments, and lifecycle management

Deliver Modern Connectivity

Shape and support hybrid cloud networking in Azure
Oversee WAN, LAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and wireless environments
Ensure seamless connectivity across a geographically distributed estate

Drive Innovation & Automation

Introduce and expand automation (PowerShell / Python)
Reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency
Move towards infrastructure-as-code principles

Strengthen Security & Compliance

Work closely with security teams on Cyber Essentials Plus & ISO 27001
Oversee firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, and secure access controls
Support audits, risk management, and incident response

Lead Key Projects

Own technical delivery of network projects including:
- Site deployments
- Connectivity transformations
- Telephony rollouts (VoIP/SIP)
- Platform enhancements

What You’ll Bring

Strong leadership experience managing technical teams
Proven background in enterprise networking (multi-site environments)
Deep expertise in Cisco Meraki (essential)
Experience with Azure networking and hybrid environments
Solid knowledge of network security, SD-WAN, VPNs, and routing/switching
Exposure to automation tools and scripting
Ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects end-to-end

Certifications such as CCNP, Meraki, or Azure Network Engineer are a bonus — but practical experience matters most.
