Job Title:- Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger / Banking
Site:- Sandbach, UK
Hours:- 37.5 per week; Monday – Friday 08:30-16:30
The purpose of this role is:-
Flexible role between the Purchase Ledger and Banking Departments:
Purchase Ledger: Ensuring the accurate processing of purchase invoices and timely preparation of payment runs by liaising with our global offices and suppliers.
Banking: Assisting the banking department in ensuring accurate and timely payments, cash postings and keeping up-to-date accurate recordings for auditor purposes
What you will do:-
The job holder is required to have experience in accounts administration. Having purchase ledger experience is desirable, but not essential. In addition, experience of integrated business systems or SAP Business One and dealing with medium to high volume transactions would be advantageous.
Confidentiality and trustworthiness are also vital due to the nature of the role which includes dealing with banking payments, which are also in multi-currencies. There will also be a requirement for the successful candidate to be DBS checked.
You need to be flexible, able to effectively work in a team and communicate with suppliers, banks and staff in our global offices. Furthermore, accuracy and good attention to detail, as well as good computer and arithmetic skills, are essential for this job role.
