Full job description
Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Support Worker in our specialist residential service, near Crosshands and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a Support Worker, you will provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us. THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE WORKING NIGHTS.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
• Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping.
• Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging and meaningful activities.
• Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support.
• Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
• Work flexibly on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Additional Information
• A variety of contracted hours available (22.5 to 45 hours per week)
• Shift patterns vary and include weekends and night shifts on a rota basis
• No prior experience required – full training provided
• Opportunity to gain a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care after probation, with full support
• Previous experience for this role would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given

• Must be aged 18 or over; driving preferred due to rural location of the service
