ROLE
The Production Control & Dispatch Administrator plays a pivotal role at the heart of our operations, supporting both the Production Planning and Dispatch functions to ensure products move smoothly from factory floor to customers worldwide. Split across two dynamic departments, this role provides essential administrative coordination that keeps production flowing efficiently and customer orders fulfilled on time.
In Dispatch, you’ll manage the end-to-end administration of global shipments: from preparing customs documentation and arranging couriers to issuing invoices, despatch notes, and tracking details. You’ll be a key point of contact for customer shipment enquiries, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to service excellence.
Within Production Planning, you’ll work closely with the planning team to issue, update, and release manufacturing documentation that supports daily output targets. Your accuracy and organisation will directly contribute to production throughput and on-time delivery performance.

MANDATORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adherence to all Company policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality
- Working positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Stores and Production Planning to ensure product is shipped to Customers
- Raise any Customs related documentation for overseas shipments as required
- Arranging couriers to collect goods for shipment
- Raise invoices, despatch notes/tracking and email to Customers
- Dealing with Customer shipment enquiries
- Raise print and release job cards that include new work orders, up issue of current orders, rework and part batching to support production throughput

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- GCSE English and Maths to a minimum of Grade C or equivalent
- Experience gained in a similar role
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience of using an ERP system (Syspro or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) desirable but not essential
- Experience of dealing with customers and/or external stakeholders
