We’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic person with a strong customer service mindset and an interest in developing within a varied IT role. You’ll join a supportive IT team, gaining hands-on experience with new tools and technologies while providing proactive and reactive support across the business.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1st line support in person, on email and over the phone
Monitor, investigate, and resolve issues, providing clear and timely updates
Ensure all incidents are recorded in the appropriate systems
Prioritise work according to urgency
Work with the team to make improvements to ways of working and systems
Automate the operation of everyday tasks and requests
Maintain the IT’s excellent reputation across the business
Desirable skills:
A technical understanding and interest of computers and IT in general
Knowledge of Windows and Mac Operating Systems
Confidence to work in a largely face to face environment
Highly organised and focused
The willingness and drive to learn and grow on the job
Committed attitude towards a first-class customer service
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Be able to make a good cuppa!
Entry requirements:
3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week: 9.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday with a one hour lunch break. In addition, you will have 20% of your weekly time agreed to spend on external training as part of your apprenticeship
