Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join Bolton Council's Looked After Children (LAC) Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people in care, ensuring they receive the stability, support and opportunities they need to achieve positive outcomes. You'll be joining a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Looked After Children.
- Develop and review care plans to meet the needs of children and young people.
- Undertake statutory visits and ensure all statutory responsibilities are met.
- Work closely with foster carers, residential providers, families and partner agencies.
- Prepare reports for reviews, court proceedings and care planning meetings.
- Promote permanence planning and positive outcomes for children in care.
Requirements
- Social Work England Registration.
- Qualified Social Worker status.
- Previous experience within Children's Social Care, ideally in Looked After Children, Court, Safeguarding or Care Planning teams.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
- Enhanced DBS.
