The Credentialing Specialist supports Manager’s and company’s mission by ensuring the quality and accuracy of the department’s work. Uses internet and other resources to perform Primary Source Verification of licenses and credentials of applicants on behalf of clients. Reports information in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), state and federal law, and company guidelines.

The candidate must be willing to HYRBRIDwork arrangement in Quezon City, following a NIGHT SHIFTschedule.

Responsibilities

Review and release leads to clients using knowledge of FCRA, other applicable regulations, client matrices, and Cisive policy. Review disclosures if applicable and apply advanced FCRA knowledge.

Utilize keen sense of detail to ensure lead reporting is consistent and accurate. Ensure lead notes are clear, concise and without error.

At the discretion of management, actively participate in the dispute process by performing work or depending upon complexity.

Note missing requirements in the internal case notes if any documents are missing.

Demonstrate leadership capabilities by serving as subject matter experts to team members and internal business partners and offering guidance to peers as needed.

Ensure processes meet applicable Federal guidelines and requirements.

Assist with the training of support level positions within the department by exhibiting patience, clarity of information, and serving as a mentor throughout the training period.

Review work produced by vendors and support team to ensure accuracy. Provide guidance to remedy performance-related errors by sharing knowledge and constructively providing guidance to avoid repeated mistakes.
