Your Opportunity
- The pay rate is £13.60 per hour, paid to you at the end of every month.
- Minimum contracted hours are 8.25 hours per week.
The test centre opens :
- Mondays 07:30-16:15
- Tuesdays 07:30-19:15
- Wednesdays 07:30-12:15
- Alternate Saturdays 07:30-12:15
- Working hours will be rotated throughout the Team.
- Flexibility is essential, the Test Centre also opens on an ad-hoc basis to cover testing events and to meet capacity of testing requests. Additional days / hours to the above may be required when the Test Centre opens to meet the needs of the business.
- Cover may also need to be provided for other local centres as required.
- During peak periods and to provide Staff Annual Leave cover, you will be required to work extra days as and when required.
We are looking for a flexible individual who can provide additional cover at short notice to support periods of sickness absence, annual leave, and other operational requirements. Successful candidates will be expected to be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and alternate Saturdays, in line with the centre's operating schedule.
As candidates begin arriving from 7:30am, reliable and punctual attendance is essential. Travel distance and the ability to arrive on time for early starts will therefore be an important consideration during the recruitment process.
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Processing candidates’ sign-in and explaining the test process to them.
- Administering and invigilating tests
- Ensure all compliance standards relating to the test centre operation and security protocols are adhered to
- Will be a friendly and professional team player with excellent timekeeping
- Experience in using computers preferred including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Flexible, will be able to work different days and times
- Willing to travel to other test centres to provide support
