Gurpreet Kaur
Skills
My core strengths sit across digital marketing and content, including social media marketing, content creation, copywriting, brand management, campaign planning, and event support, with a growing interest in building brand awareness through LinkedIn and other platforms. On the analytical side, I’m developing my abilities in Google Analytics (GA4), Excel (including pivot tables), and SQL, alongside solid data analysis and reporting skills and confident use of Microsoft PowerPoint and the wider Office suite.
I also bring a strong foundation in client and account-facing work, including client relationship management, stakeholder management, project coordination, CRM systems, sales performance, and customer service, built through my retail and administrative experience. Alongside these, I have well-rounded soft skills — clear communication, strong organisation, team leadership, problem solving, and time management — and I’m trilingual in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, which helps me connect with a broad range of people and audiences.
About
I’m a marketing graduate with a First Class Honours degree in Business Management (Digital Marketing) from Middlesex University, and over the past year I’ve been working as a Keyholder within EssilorLuxottica’s Ray-Ban retail network in London. In that role I’ve been responsible for opening and closing the store, coaching colleagues on product knowledge and service standards, and keeping an eye on daily sales performance against our targets — often stepping up and taking ownership when management wasn’t around. Before that, I spent over two years at Skechers, where I was recognised as Employee of the Month and regularly contributed to visual merchandising on the shop floor, and I also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Gurutech Services, managing client communications and documentation.
Alongside this, I’ve been building my analytical and digital marketing skills in my own time — I’m currently working through GA4, Excel (including pivot tables), and SQL to get more comfortable with campaign reporting and performance analysis. I’m also genuinely into content creation, and I’m active on Instagram and TikTok, so the social media side of this role is something I’d really enjoy.
