IT & Security Engineer, Luxembourg (on‑site) – International Organisation

DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an IT & Security Engineer responsible for implementing the local IT and Security strategy in alignment with Group standards. The role oversees governance, ICT KPIs, risks and controls while ensuring system resilience and operational readiness. It includes managing incidents, problems and changes, and delivering high‑quality end‑user support in Luxembourg. The position also ensures compliance with ICT, security and outsourcing regulations (CSSF, DORA) and coordinates with providers, auditors and internal stakeholders. Requires 3–5 years of experience and strong ITIL, risk management and regulatory knowledge.
Tasks:
∙Ensure the implementation and continuous application of the local IT and Security strategy in alignment with Group standards.
∙Maintain governance frameworks, policies and procedures, ensuring proper monitoring of ICT KPIs, risks and controls with timely escalation.
∙Contribute to the evolution of the local IT architecture, ensuring consistency, resilience and regulatory compliance.
∙Secure operational readiness of critical systems and oversee production environments.
∙Supervise incident, problem and change management processes, ensuring documentation quality and full traceability.
∙Guarantee high‑quality end‑user support for the Luxembourg office.
∙Ensure compliance with ICT, information security and outsourcing regulations, including CSSF and EU frameworks (DORA).
∙Oversee IT and cybersecurity risk management activities and support internal/external audits and inspections.
∙Act as a key IT & Security contact for Business Lines, Group IT, external providers and control functions.
∙Manage outsourced IT and Security services, monitor SLAs, KPIs and corrective actions.
∙Maintain outsourcing documentation, provider contracts and ensure accurate reporting on IT operations, risks and performance.
∙Ensure timely completion of ICT regulatory reporting (e.g., LFR, ICTS).
Specific expertise:
∙Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management.
∙Understanding of cybersecurity, risk management and regulatory frameworks (CSSF, DORA).
∙Knowledge of core banking and wealth management platforms (e.g., Temenos) and related integrations.
∙Solid understanding of IT governance, infrastructure, and operational controls.
