We operate a hybrid working model, with a split of days being in the office and days being worked at home. Pepper Money has three offices across the UK and one office in Manila, where this role will be based.
What you will be doing
As a Cyber Security Analyst, youll strengthen our security posture by supporting incident response, detection, prevention and governance activities across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and respond to cyber incidents via our MSSP and Microsoft Sentinel SIEM.
- Manage cyber‑related tickets and support end‑users.
- Carry out daily/weekly/monthly control checks and recommend fixes.
- Support vulnerability management across endpoints and servers.
- Assist with supplier and technology due diligence.
- Maintain risk registers and control inventories.
- Manage phishing simulations and support security training.
- Implement and assure security controls, ensuring correct configuration.
- Contribute to control design, monitoring and MI reporting.
- Conduct horizon scanning on technology and regulatory developments.
What we are looking for
Were seeking a skilled cyber professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent analytical abilities and a proactive approach to risk and security operations.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in cyber operations; SOC experience beneficial.
- Strong understanding of incident procedures, investigations and root‑cause analysis.
- Knowledge of risk management and stakeholder engagement.
- Cyber intelligence gathering experience.
- TCP/IP, web and cloud technologies
- Strong communication and report‑writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively.
