Referral and Allocation Officer

Salary: £24,880.99 a year

Location: Derby County

Hours per week: 37.5

Contract type: Fixed Term

As a member of our Domestic Abuse Services you’ll be providing triage and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of our co-ordinated response to high risk domestic abuse services in Derbyshire.

What you’ll do:

Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from customers, colleagues and partner agencies.
Process referrals and use risk assessment tools to assess suitability for the service.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and notes, and manage resources.
Collate data, research and reports to support service development and commissioner reporting.
Maintain secure records, work within safeguarding and information-sharing standards, and build strong partnerships with agencies.

Who you are:

A strong understanding of relationship abuse, including the dynamics, behaviours and risks involved.
Excellent communication and listening skills, with confidence to ask questions and clarify information.
Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, including confidence using case management systems and handling confidential information.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
A collaborative, compassionate approach that values individuals and supports colleagues.
A full driving licence with the use of your own vehicle is essential.
DBS check required.
