Operational Support Administrator - Leeds
Are you interested in fleet management, operational administration, and training coordination? This could be your opportunity to excel as an Operational Support Administrator, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success.
As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Operational Support Administrator to join our Monitoring and Surveying Division.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Operational Support Administrator to join our Stores Team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in administration, fleet management, or operational support, along with knowledge of fleet operations, training coordination, and compliance requirements, is desirable to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing division vehicle fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, driver inductions, and provider coordination
- Coordinating employee training programmes, certification renewals, and training records
- Maintaining accurate fleet, training, and compliance records, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry requirements
- Reviewing and reconciling vehicle-related invoices, reports, and administrative documentation
- Supporting vehicle breakdowns, accident reporting, and insurance claim processes
- Assisting with the management and servicing of safety and surveying equipment to ensure compliance and operational readiness
Qualifications
To be a successful, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Must have a full, clean UK manual Driving License and comfortable driving large vehicles
- Strong organisational, time management, and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and database management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
