We have various roles for support workers, senior support workers and night wake support based on the South Coast near to Worthing. This is working for a Residential Children's Home.
Tasks
Provide day to day care and support to children, building trusting and positive relationships that help them feel safe and valued.
Act as a key worker for named young people, contributing to their care planning, reviews and personal goals.
Encourage and support education, learning and attendance at school, college or training.
Help children develop independence and essential life skills, such as cooking, budgeting, personal care and managing daily routines.
Plan and take part in activities, hobbies, outings and family time that promote confidence.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people at all times, recognising and reporting any concerns in line with safeguarding policy.
Maintain accurate, timely records including daily logs, incident reports and key working notes, in line with the Children's Homes Regulations
Follow the home's statement of purpose, policies and the Ofsted Quality Standards in all aspects of the role.
Requirements
Experience working in a Children's Home Residential setting.
