Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Preparation for Adulthood team, based in Richmond Upon Thames.
What will your responsibilities be?
- In this role, you will be undertaking assessments of individual and carers needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm.
- Working in partnership with service users and carers using a person-centred approach, with the aim of maximising independence, wellbeing and choice.
- Applying social work principles and values to guide professional practice and respect diversity
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- A recognised Social Work qualification
- Current Social Work England (SWE) registration
- Experience undertaking assessments, reviews, and safeguarding interventions within adult social care
- Good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and relevant legislation
- Strong multi-agency partnership working skills
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to practice
- A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for adults and their families
