PYRÁ, a vibrant independent restaurant in Queen's Park, London, known for its Greek and Spanish inspired all-day dining, is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our front-of-house team. Key Responsibilities:. . * Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines and spirits, adhering to recipes and service standards.. * Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilising our POS system.. * Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring high standards of presentation and guest satisfaction.. * Provide outstanding customer service, anticipating guest needs, offering recommendations and handling inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.. * Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar and dining area.. * Process payments and handle card transactions accurately.. * Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and the wider front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow and a cohesive guest experience.. * Adhere to all health, safety and licensing regulations, including responsible alcohol service.. . . What We Are Looking For:. . * Proven experience as a Bartender and/or Waiter/Waitress, ideally within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting.. * Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, including classic cocktails and a good understanding of wine and spirits.. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and engaging personality.. * Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.. * A positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.. * Knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and cuisine would be an advantage.
