**Key Responsibilities**. - Deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.. - Welcome and seat customers promptly, ensuring they feel valued from arrival to departure.. - Take food and drink orders accurately and serve meals and beverages efficiently.. - Maintain your designated section to the highest professional standards at all times, ensuring tables, service stations, and surrounding areas are clean, organised, fully stocked, and presentation-ready throughout the shift.. - Ensure all tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset promptly for incoming guests.. - Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth and efficient service.. - Be well-presented, maintain excellent personal hygiene, and arrive dressed smartly in the correct uniform, ready to begin work at the scheduled start time.. - Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues professionally, escalating to management where necessary.. - Process bills and payments accurately.. - Follow all food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.. - Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering high standards of service.. - Support your colleagues and contribute to a strong team environment to ensure every guest receives an outstanding dining experience.. - At the end of every shift, ensure your designated section, service stations, equipment, and all work areas are thoroughly cleaned, sanitised, fully stocked where required, and prepared to a professional standard for the next team member or the following day’s service. Leaving your work area clean, hygienic, and organised is an essential responsibility of the role.. . - Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential.. - Excellent communication and customer service skills.. - Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.. - Positive attitude and strong team player.. - Good spoken English (Portuguese is an advantage but not essential).. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
