Interim Desktop Support Analyst
Central Manchester, 4-5 days per week onsite
Initial 3 month contract (with view to extend to 6 months)

We are seeking an experienced Interim Desktop Support Analyst to provide first and second-line IT support within a busy digital and technology environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving IT incidents and service requests, supporting end users with hardware, software and mobile device issues, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support via face-to-face, telephone and remote channels.
- Troubleshooting and resolving incidents relating to devices, applications and user accounts.
- Managing service requests and incidents through the IT service management system.
- Supporting the setup, deployment and maintenance of laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
- Assisting with user onboarding, account administration and access management.
- Meeting room support for high profile board meetings, including AV and connectivity
- Laptop Roll-out
- Contributing to continuous improvement of IT support processes and knowledge documentation.
- Delivering a high standard of customer service while working to agreed service levels.
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a Service Desk, IT Support or Tech Bar environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows devices and mobile technologies.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be required on site 4 or 5 days per week, on a shift rota, operating between 8.30 and 5pm. Working hours are 7.5 per day.
