Health & Social Care Lecturer
Reed Further Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Social Care Lecturer to join a successful Further Education provider on a full-time temporary basis based in Derbyshire
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable lecturer who can deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons from Level 1 through to BTEC Level 3 learners.
- Hours: 37 hours per week
- Contract: Temporary
- Duration: 14 September 2026 to 18 December 2026
The Role
- Deliver Health & Social Care programmes from Level 1 to BTEC Level 3
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that support learner achievement
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- A degree in a Health & Social Care related subject
- PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Health & Social Care within Further Education or a similar setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills

Assessment Process
shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview and complete a microteach session. The microteach topic will be an Introduction to DNA and its purpose for a Level 3 class.
