Manages, implements, communicates, monitors and maintains information security policies and procedures. Develops and implements security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments. Creates architectures and designs of major security related solutions for the enterprise. Provides guidance on network security design issues for projects and various business units across the organization. May have any of the following responsibilities: manages aspects of the design, configuration, deployment, and monitoring of application security in support of application strategy and SOX requirements; responsible for application access management; reviews the development, testing and implementation of security plans, products and control techniques; performs security summary risk analyses, security assessments, and network security design; provides security engineering, analysis, and managerial solutions; investigates and recommends appropriate corrective actions for data security incidents; manages security infrastructure operations. Maintains an awareness of existing and proposed security standard setting groups, state and federal legislation and regulations pertaining to information security. Identifies regulatory changes that will affect information security policy, standards and procedures and recommends appropriate changes. Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management. Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems.
